Exclusive baby layette - what is worth buying and what can be forgiven?

Baby items are so nice and carefully crafted that you can easily drive away from your layette shopping loaded to the brim with a tire. In addition, before the birth everything seems to be needed, preferably in several copies because what happens if one gets lost, another gets dirty and the third ends up at grandma's house?
Essentials
To begin with, it is best to focus on what is essential. That is, for now, we close our eyes and do not look towards Effia's beautiful rabbits or, even less, La Millou cuddly toys. Because what does a child do at first? He sleeps, eats and makes a diaper. That is, we need a crib (great suggestions that grow with the baby has Stokke, it is also worth checking the TROLL offer) with a mattress, a quilt with a pillowcase, a blanket, and we have our sleep encased.
After the baby is born, you may find that sleeping without noise is impossible - then you can buy a Shumis Bear (mascot or the head itself). After the birth, we can also buy a sleeping bag for sleeping - depending on what time of year the behemoth will be born. If in the summer, it is completely sufficient for him to sleep wrapped in a diaper (preferably a muslin one, which is very pleasant to the touch - such in the offer has, for example, Poofi) and if in the winter, you can consider a thicker sleeping bag (such as Snoozebaby or Quax).
Another issue is food. Here it all depends on whether you choose to breastfeed or use formula milk. Breastfeeding is so much more convenient, because if you choose this option, all you can get is a breast pump (and a million patience, a head of cabbage, lecithin tablets and once in a while a non-alcoholic beer for relaxation).
For comfort during feeding, you can use a special pillow - such as the La Millou hen or Poofi feeding pillows. Such pads are, next to dry shampoo, one of the better inventions of mankind. In the first few weeks of life, the baby is limp as a lebe, and although we at the birthing school listened carefully to how to hold it for feeding, it was then rather asleep. That's why it's best to have a pillow, put the behemoth on the pillow, put it to the breast and fire up your Kindle with some interesting book.
In the case of feeding with modified milk, it is a good idea to have already prepared bottles (for example, from Medela), a bottle dryer (my favorite model is the Green Grass model from Boon) and a heater.
Regarding the diaper topic, here you simply need to stock up on two million diapers and baby wipes. It's also a good idea to buy a bottom care cream for possible flare-ups.
Of course, before giving birth you also need to buy pram and a car seat, but that's a topic for a separate post ;).
Second-level essentials
Unfortunately, as time goes by, a person doesn't get any younger, and this is true for a centenarian as well as a month-old behemoth. While a newborn baby actually only eats and sleeps and soils the diaper, a two-month-old bean may already show a greater desire for activity.
Only then can you look around for a mat - a great one, for example, is a mat from Mamas&Papas, model Octopus. We put the baby down on such a mat, the mat is pleasant to the touch and colorful so the baby feels taken care of and at the same time interested and we can take care of dinner.
