Why buy pram from the premium segment?

As my family will soon go from a family of three to a family of four, I announced to my husband some time ago that I was going to buy a stroller extension. Husband says - fine - and the topic disappeared. Some time later, my husband took our daughter to the zoo. He returns and says there were so many children in strollers at the zoo! And one of those strollers had such a supply! Made of fiberboard and wheels bought at Castorama! And my do-it-yourself husband is more than happy to make me one, and it will cost pennies (although a "normal" supply doesn't cost millions at all)! Did I agree to this?

Buy what you can afford

Of course, I could be happy that my husband so resourceful, he will make me an extension from fiberboard and with the money saved I will buy myself a coat. However, I don't really like the vision of turning the stroller into a Brazilian favela. Besides, how am I going to get on the streetcar with it?

The same is true of pramsitself. If you have found pram, which suits you and you can afford it, why should you give it up? I'm sure my husband could make pram out of fiberboard, Castorama wheels and maybe some more recycled tarp, but after all, this pramsem will be ridden by a child. For at least a year - or longer. When I buy pram, I buy a ready-made solution. I'm paying for the fact that pram is lightweight, that it's easy to cram a carrycot into it, easy to lift it, easy to change from carrycot to stroller. I pay for ideas on which the designer spent a lot of time.

And finally - I pay for decent materials! I can already see how in the winter I go with pramswith a fiberboard extension and my older daughter, instead of sitting stably on the extension, drifts as if on a snowboard and misses only Wiener Schnitzel alternating with Apfelstrudel on the slope.

Buy what you like

Let's not kid ourselves - pram is supposed to be pretty. If you spend a lot of time on choosing the right boots or coat, then pram will be all the more eye-catching. And not just to other people - but especially to you. Why buy pram, which you know from the beginning is not it? You'll look at it every day, so why should you regret every time you didn't buy your dream model?

Just as you can buy new shoes every season, pram you buy once and you're done - so it's worth it that in addition to your expectations for functionality, it also meets your expectations for appearance and workmanship.
