Why should you buy a premium stroller?

Since my family is about to grow from three to four, I told my husband a while ago that I plan to buy an extension for the stroller. My husband said, "Okay," and that was the end of it.. A little while later, my husband took our daughter to the zoo. He comes back and says there were so many kids in strollers at the zoo! And one of those strollers had an attachment like that! Made from fiberboard and rings bought at Castorama! And my husband, who's a DIY enthusiast, will be more than happy to make one for me, and it'll cost next to nothing (even though a "regular" extra bed doesn't cost a fortune either)! Did I agree to that??
Buy what you can afford
Of course, I could be happy that my husband is so resourceful—he’ll make me an extra bed from fiberboard, and with the money I save, I’ll buy myself a coat. However, I'm not too keen on the idea of turning the stroller into a Brazilian favela. Besides, how am I supposed to get on the tram with this??
It's the same with the stroller itself. If you've found a stroller that suits you and you can afford it, why would you pass it up?? I'm sure my husband could build a stroller out of fiberboard, wheels from Castorama, and maybe some recycled canvas, but after all, a child is going to be riding in that stroller. For at least a year—or even longer. When I buy a stroller, I'm buying a ready-made solution. I like that the stroller is lightweight, that it's easy to attach the infant car seat, easy to lift it, and easy to switch from the infant car seat to the stroller seat. I pay for ideas that the designer has spent a lot of time on.
And finally—I pay for high-quality materials! I can just picture myself in the winter, pushing a stroller with a fiberboard seat attachment, and my older daughter, instead of sitting steadily in the seat, drifting along like she’s on a snowboard—the only thing missing is a Wiener Schnitzel and an Apfelstrudel to alternate between on the slope..
Buy whatever you like
Let's be honest—a stroller is supposed to be cute. If you spend a lot of time picking out the right boots or coat, the stroller will stand out even more. And not just to other people—but above all, to you. Why buy a stroller when you know from the start that it's not the right one?? You'll be looking at it every day, so why should you regret not buying the model of your dreams every single time??
Just as you might buy new shoes every season, you buy a stroller just once—and that’s it—which is why it’s important that, in addition to meeting your expectations for functionality, it also meets your expectations regarding its appearance and craftsmanship.
