Nursicare® is a specialized class 1a sterile medical dressing

Its main task is to reduce the pain associated with breastfeeding and speed up the healing of nipple wounds. Its effect has been proven by numerous scientific studies and the experience of thousands of professionals around the world.

A randomized trial comparing the effectiveness of NURSICARE® with lanolin-based ointments for breastfeeding women's pain and the speed of healing of nipple wounds was published in late 2022.

The results of this study clearly indicated which solution is more effective:

• "76% of women who used Nursere® experienced healing of the right nipple compared to 38.8% in the control group and 71.7% for the left nipple compared to 38.3% in the control group."
• "Women randomly assigned to the Nursere® group experienced a statistically significant 1.62 point reduction in pain, from 4.04 at the beginning to 2.42 at the end. The pain level in the control group increased by 0.02 points from 3.77 to 3.79."

Composition:

Polyurethane foam - forms the base of NURSICARE®. It is a carrier of active ingredients, and thanks to its porous open cell structure, it has a "microVAC" effect that increases local blood supply to tissues and has an anti-inflammatory effect.

Glycerin - moisturizer. Prevents NURSICARE® from sticking to the skin, and is a simple source of energy for newly forming epidermal cells.

SURFACTANT F68 - an agent released from NURSICARE® onto skin surfaces where it has a surfactant action. Reduces surface tension and provides continuous clearing of necrotic tissue. Combined with the absorbent and foam structure, it has a proven local analgesic and anti-inflammatory effect consisting of min. on the uptake of P-peptide and sodium ions. Surfactant F68 is a pharmaceutical grade ingredient with proven "inertness" to the baby and breast milk composition.

Starch copolymer - Absorbent to ensure that the skin maintains proper moisture content. Holds NURSICARE® breast milk inside, allowing you to take advantage of its healing properties for nipple pain and rashes. Prevents oxidation and death of milk components such as stem cells and glycerol monolaurate (GML).
