Important information:
Inglesina Copernic has the current European tests UN R129 this means that every seat with this standard has been crash tested using a Q dummy. The same as in ADAC The test is conducted in two ranges. Head-on collision at 50 km/h and side impact at 30 km/h
How does R129 differ from R44? The differences are fundamental:
- UN Standard R129 introduces classification of seats based on the height of the child - Until now, there has been an unreliable criterion of importance.
- UN R129, in addition to frontal crashes, also examines side crashes (R44 only frontal).
- Crash tests conducted under the new approval use modern Q-type mannequins , which better represent the child's body structure and, thanks to more sensitive sensors, allow to more accurately measure the loads acting on the seat at the time of a sudden traffic incident.
