Max Barenbrug, the founder of Bugaboo, an industrial design engineer, realized his first design for a lightweight multifunctional stroller in 1995 as a diploma thesis at the Design Academy Eindhoven. It was the prototype Bugaboo Cameleon – considered one of the icons of Dutch design thought, honored with its own postage stamp in a series commemorating nine of the most important projects in the history of Dutch industrial design.
