Bugaboo® Donkey 5 Twin stroller using dedicated adapters (sold separately - click here ) allows for mounting two car seats on the frame of the stroller at the same time. The adapters are designed for all reputable car seats available on the market with a Maxi-Cosi type universal fit (including Cybex, Avionaut, selected Britax Romer models).

With this system, there is no need for a carrycot for short trips. Riding the Bugaboo® Donkey 5 with the seats installed is perfect for quick trips to the store or shorter walks. The car seats easily and conveniently transfer to the car, and store the folded frame of the stroller in the trunk.

The carrycot is designed for infants from birth to about 6 months of age. For physiological reasons, infants must rest in an almost perfectly flat position. The carrycot is used for regular long walks and lounging or even as a travel crib. In the Bugaboo Donkey 5, children are even closer to the parent, as the stroller's profiles have been extended by an additional 3 cm. The nacelles are equipped with panoramic ventilation panels, and a heavily extended canopy that almost completely covers the toddler and protects from strong winds - Tested with a wind turbine at 50 km/h.

In the stroller version, that is, with two seats, the Bugaboo® Donkey 5 Twin serves children from about 6 months of age (that is, already seated) until they reach about 22 kg in weight. Donkey 5 features Bugaboo®'s typical ergonomic bucket seats to keep toddlers upright. Multi-stage seat angle, up to the reclining position. As standard, it can be mounted either forward or rearward facing. Stroller can be folded with stroller seats installed for a one-piece self-storage 'package'.
